Research Communication on digital platforms – Using social media to disseminate research on conspiracy theory

Tomas Nilsson from Linnaeus University and Carlos Diaz Ruiz from Hanken School of Economics in Finland explain how they navigated social media to successfully communicate their research findings on the ”Flat Earth” conspiracy theory. Their article was published this year in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and has become JPPM’s second most-read article. In this presentation, the authors reflect on the new digital landscape of research communication.
